On May 10, 2014 Katie and Bill were married in Canterbury, CT at the Wrights Mill Farm.
It was a great honor to be chosen to photograph their wedding, as it is with all my other clients. But this one special for another reason. Next year when I get married to my fiance Colette, Bill and Katie will become part of my family. Bill is my fiance’s sister’s husband’s brother!
Their ceremony was scheduled to be outdoors at the Wrights Mill Farm. Unfortunately the weather turned sour and a storm rolled in just as Katie arrived in the limo. They say that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck. I wish to believe that is true! I was able to get some shots of the beautiful outdoor ceremony area that they decorated themselves before the rain started.
Despite the weather, the entire wedding was beautiful! You can tell that everybody that was in attendance loved them both very much. There was a great vibe! Not to mention, most if not all of the decorations were handmade which made the event even more personal and unique.
I wish Bill and Katie many more years of happiness. Their journey together has just begun!
